Samuel Chukwueze excels in new wing-back role for AC Milan

Samuel Chukwueze earned Man of the Match honors following AC Milan’s 2-1 Serie A opening-day victory over Torino. Playing in a new right wing-back role under head coach Ruben Amorim, the Nigerian international provided the assist for Adrien Rabiot’s goal and created four scoring opportunities.

Chukwueze, who recently returned to Milan following a loan spell at Fulham, expressed his readiness to adapt to Amorim’s 3-4-2-1 formation. He noted that the coach has been providing direct feedback to help him improve his defensive responsibilities.
