Samuel Chukwueze expected to miss two months with hip injury
AC Milan winger Samuel Chukwueze is expected to be sidelined for at least two months due to a left hip injury. The 27-year-old Nigerian international has consulted a specialist and begun a course of injection treatments.
Chukwueze will undergo a reassessment in 10 to 15 days, but reports suggest he may not return to action before the end of the year. His absence will rule him out of several upcoming fixtures, including the derby against Inter Milan on October 31.
The injury adds to AC Milan’s current squad depth issues, as Matteo Gabbia and Alexis Saelemaekers are also facing long-term absences. To address the lack of options on the flanks, the club is reportedly considering recalling full-back Zachary Athekame from his loan at Lyon.
In contrast, striker Gonçalo Ramos has returned to full training after a calf concern was cleared by medical scans, making him available for the upcoming match against Udinese.
