Samuel Chukwueze stays at AC Milan, turns down Trabzonspor offer
After a season on loan at Fulham, Nigerian winger Samuel Chukwueze has officially returned to AC Milan. Fulham chose not to exercise their €30 million purchase option, leaving the player under Milan’s contract. Turkish side Trabzonspor subsequently proposed a €15 million loan with an option to buy, but Chukwueze rejected the move, stating his intention to remain in top‑level European football.
Milan, which bought Chukwueze for €21 million in 2023, is now weighing a permanent sale at a higher price or keeping him for the upcoming season. The player hopes to impress new coach Rúben Amorim and earn a role in the club’s 3‑4‑2‑1 system, rather than accept a transfer to the Süper Lig.
