Samuel Etaifo Erale becomes Delta State Police Commissioner

Samuel Etaifo Erale has assumed duty as the 25th Commissioner of Police for the Delta State Police Command in Nigeria. The announcement was made by the Command’s Public Relations Officer, SP Bright Edafe.

Erale succeeds CP Yemi John Oyeniyi. An indigene of Edo State, Erale joined the Nigeria Police Force in 1994. His career includes various operational and administrative roles across several states, including Kogi, Ekiti, Osun, Akwa Ibom, Bayelsa, and Rivers, as well as assignments at the Force Headquarters in Abuja.

His professional background also includes international experience, having served as part of the Nigeria Police contingent for the United Nations Mission in Kosovo in 2000, participating in peace-support and policing operations.
