Nuevo León Governor Samuel García and Mariana Rodríguez have announced the birth of their third daughter, Raquel. The baby was born in the early hours of Sunday, October 25, 2026, at a private hospital in San Pedro Garza García.

The birth occurred three days earlier than the initially expected date of October 28. Rodríguez was hospitalized on Saturday, October 24, after experiencing contractions during a prenatal follow-up appointment. The couple shared the news and family photographs on social media, noting that the infant weighed 3.080 kg.

Raquel is the third daughter for the couple, following sisters Mariel, born in March 2023, and Isabel, born in July 2025.
