Samuel García takes second place at Trail Valle de Tena

Samuel García of the Matarraña Team secured second place in the 80-kilometer flagship event of the Trail Valle de Tena. The race was characterized by significant physical demands, including 6,820 meters of positive elevation gain and challenging weather conditions with temperatures reaching nearly 30 degrees Celsius during the final stages.

García navigated difficult terrain, including an ascent to Garmo Negro at approximately 3,000 meters altitude. He noted that while the high mountain sections were completed during cooler early morning hours, the final climbs proved to be the most difficult due to rising heat during the descent into the valley.
