Samuel L. Jackson and Eva Green star in ‘Just Play Dead’ trailer

The trailer for the upcoming crime thriller ‘Just Play Dead’ has been released, starring Samuel L. Jackson and Eva Green. Directed by Martin Campbell, known for ‘Casino Royale’, the film follows Jack Wolfe, a wealthy criminal mastermind who attempts to fake his own death to claim a $30 million insurance payout while framing his wife’s lover.

However, the plot involves a double-cross as Wolfe’s wife, Nora, seeks to make his death permanent to secure the fortune for herself. The film features a cast including Eoin Macken, María Pedraza, and Jason Fernández. ‘Just Play Dead’ is scheduled for release in select theaters on August 28, 2026, followed by an on-demand release on September 1, 2026.
