Samuel Mbangula scores hat-trick to lead Bologna to victory over Milan
Samuel-Germain Kinduelu Mbangula Tshifunda scored three goals to lead Bologna to a 4:2 away victory against AC Milan at San Siro. The 2004-born Belgian striker became the first player since Gabriel Omar Batistuta to score a hat-trick against Milan at home while playing for a different club.
Mbangula, who previously played for Juventus and Werder Bremen, joined Bologna on a loan deal from the German club during the summer transfer window. His performance marks a significant turning point following a period of limited playing time under previous coaching.
The result marks the first Serie A defeat for Milan manager Ruben Amorim in the ninth round of the season. Meanwhile, Inter Milan secured a 2:0 win against Venezia, aided by two own goals, as they prepare for the upcoming Madonnina derby.
