On the same day, newcomer David de Miranda impressed the crowd in his debut, coming close to opening the Puerta Grande and earning an ear after a clean finish on the sixth bull, despite limited opportunities from the livestock. Other participants, such as Talavante, struggled with a lack of quality in the animals, resulting in a modest showing.
