Samuele Inacio omitted from Italy squad amid transfer interest

Borussia Dortmund attacker Samuele Inacio was omitted from Italy’s matchday squad for their recent fixture against Belgium. Despite a breakthrough season and previous international appearances, manager Roberto Mancini opted for more experienced attacking options for the specific match. The omission is not due to injury or suspension, and Inacio remains part of the broader international window plans.

Separately, Inacio’s father, Inacio Pia, confirmed that major clubs including Inter Milan and Juventus expressed interest in the 18-year-old during the summer transfer window. However, the family stated that neither the player nor Borussia Dortmund are considering a move at this time, citing the ideal developmental environment provided by the German club.
