Samuele Mulattieri discusses role at Hellas Verona

Hellas Verona striker Samuele Mulattieri spoke during a press conference regarding his integration into the team and the challenges of competing in Serie B. On loan from Sassuolo, Mulattieri identified his primary role as a center-forward, noting that while he has occasionally played as a second striker, his main position remains as a lone attacker.

Mulattieri emphasized the difficulty of the league, stating that Serie B is highly competitive because every team has the potential to succeed. He noted that while Verona possesses quality, the squad must match the concentration and intensity of their opponents. He also mentioned that the team is currently in a construction phase with many new players working to master the manager's tactical mechanisms.

Addressing team injuries, Mulattieri expressed support for teammates Korac and Compagnon, who are facing serious injuries, stating the team will work to compensate for their absences. He also noted that the upcoming break will allow the squad to recover energy and improve physical conditioning, particularly for players who joined the club more recently.
