San Andreas film to broadcast on Italia 1

The action-disaster film ‘San Andreas’, directed by Brad Peyton, is scheduled to broadcast on the Italian television channel Italia 1.

The film follows Ray Gaines, a Los Angeles rescue pilot played by Dwayne Johnson, as he navigates a catastrophic series of earthquakes triggered by the San Andreas Fault. As seismic activity destroys landmarks like the Hoover Dam and devastates Los Angeles and San Francisco, Gaines and his ex-wife, Emma, embark on a mission to find and rescue their daughter, Blake.

The cast includes Alexandra Daddario, Carla Gugino, Paul Giamatti, and Ioan Gruffudd. During its initial theatrical run in Italy, the film earned approximately 2.5 million euros over its first three weeks.
