San Andrés Cholula rolls out digital investment portal to speed permits
Mayor Lupita Cuautle chaired the first ordinary session of the Municipal Council for Simplification and Digitalization in 2026, presenting progress on the Digital Investment Window. The platform aims to simplify the opening and development of investments in the municipality by reducing regulatory costs and improving transparency. The municipal treasury also outlined fiscal incentives and mechanisms to encourage economic activity and ease taxpayer obligations. The council reviewed actions linked to the National Law to Eliminate Bureaucratic Procedures and plans to strengthen administrative simplification, institutional digitalization, and good regulatory practices.
The initiative involves collaboration with local academic and business representatives, seeking to create a modern, efficient public administration that supports economic growth in San Andrés Cholula.
