San Andrés pier concession enters new stage of technical negotiations

The Departmental Government and the Sociedad Portuaria have agreed to continue negotiations through technical tables to address economic imbalances regarding the San Andrés pier concession extension. This dialogue follows an unresolved situation that has persisted for over 18 months since the signing of the concession amendment.

The Chamber of Commerce of San Andrés is participating in these meetings to facilitate a resolution. According to Jennifer Yepes, executive president of the Chamber, the upcoming sessions will require both the government and the port society to present their specific needs and financial data. The goal is to develop a numerical formula that establishes economic equilibrium, ensuring neither party is disadvantaged by the contract terms.
