San Andrés, Providencia and Santa Catalina host IX FILSAI book fair

The IX San Andrés, Providencia and Santa Catalina Book Fair (FILSAI) is scheduled to take place this week. The event arrives following significant challenges for the country caused by an earthquake on August 10.

Under the Creole theme ‘Sii ina wii’ (looking inward), this edition aims to foster dialogue between the archipelago, the Caribbean, and other global island geographies. Barbados will participate as the guest country. The programming includes topics such as feminism, the Creole language, poetry, journalism, science, and artificial intelligence, featuring various conferences, workshops, and tributes.
