San Andrés Tuxtla hosts 2026 International Balloon Festival

The 2026 International Balloon Festival in San Andrés Tuxtla, Veracruz, concluded with an attendance of over 20,000 people. The four-day event featured approximately 200 teams of artisans who created and flew decorative paper balloons.

Mayor Rafa Fararoni Magaña noted that the festival provided a significant economic boost to the local service and commerce sectors, benefiting hotels, restaurants, and local merchants. The municipal government emphasized the event's role in preserving local traditions and promoting the municipality's cultural identity.
