San Antonio de Areco lacks new decree for parking rates

San Antonio de Areco is facing uncertainty regarding its metered parking rates following the expiration of the previous tariff schedule on August 31. While the provincial Fixed Unit (Unidad Fija) increased from $2,271 to $2,281 on September 1, no new municipal decree has been published in the Official Bulletins to establish the rates for the September-October period.

Under Decree No. 898, parking rates are required to be recalculated bimonthly based on the value of the Fixed Unit. During July and August, the local executive applied the maximum permitted rates. Without a new official decree, the current applicable rates and the legal basis for any charges starting in September remain unconfirmed.
