San Antonio Spurs exercise options for Castle, Harper, and Bryant

The San Antonio Spurs have formally exercised team options for Stephon Castle, Dylan Harper, and Carter Bryant, securing their contracts through the 2027/28 season.

Stephon Castle, the 2024 fourth overall pick and former Rookie of the Year, will receive a guaranteed salary of approximately $12.7 million for the 2027/28 season. Having established himself as a full-time starter, Castle will become eligible for a rookie scale extension during the next offseason.

Dylan Harper, the second overall pick in the 2025 draft, has also had his third-year option exercised. He is expected to enter the 2026/27 season as a starter alongside Castle, De’Aaron Fox, Devin Vassell, and Victor Wembanyama. His guaranteed salary for 2027/28 will be $13.6 million.

Carter Bryant, selected 14th overall in the 2025 draft, will earn $5.4 million for the 2027/28 season following the exercise of his third-year option. The team expects the athletic forward to take significant developmental steps in his upcoming season.
