San Antonio Spurs name DAZN exclusive media partner for 2026-27 season

The San Antonio Spurs have announced a new media rights agreement with DAZN, designating the platform as their exclusive direct-to-consumer partner starting with the 2026-27 NBA season. Under the deal, DAZN will stream all preseason games and regular season games not selected for national television broadcasts.

Spurs Sports & Entertainment will manage the full production of the games. The partnership also includes original programming, behind-the-scenes content, and select matches from San Antonio FC and the Austin Spurs G League team. While the streaming service will be the primary home for fans in the southern, central, and western regions of Texas, 22 games will still be available via an undisclosed local over-the-air broadcast partner.

Industry reports suggest the annual rights fee for the Spurs is likely between $8 million and $10 million. The agreement follows a trend of NBA teams, including the Cavaliers, Timberwolves, and Pacers, migrating local broadcasts to DAZN. The service will offer various subscription tiers, including an annual Season Pass for $119.99 and monthly options starting at $19.99.
