San Antonio Spurs players address starting lineup competition

The San Antonio Spurs are facing internal competition regarding their starting lineup as the new season approaches. De'Aaron Fox has declined to comment on potential changes to the backcourt, specifically addressing the debate surrounding Dylan Harper. Fox stated, “I am not the coach, so it is not my decision,” emphasizing that both players possess talent and may share time on the court.

Dylan Harper has previously expressed his ambition to be a starter, though he later noted his comments were partly sarcastic. Meanwhile, Julian Champagnie has expressed his willingness to accept a role off the bench if directed by the coaching staff. Champagnie noted that while a bench role requires adjustments to his warm-up routine, his mental approach and commitment to the team's needs remain unchanged.
