San Antonio Spurs starting lineup ranks among NBA best

As the San Antonio Spurs prepare for the 2026-27 NBA season, the team's starting lineup is currently ranked as the third best in the league, trailing only the Oklahoma City Thunder and New York Knicks.

Victor Wembanyama enters his fourth season with high expectations following a near-championship run in June. The roster features rising talents such as Stephon Castle and Devin Vassell, alongside Dylan Harper, who is expected to have a breakout year. A key point of contention for the team's rotation involves the point guard position, where incumbent De’Aaron Fox faces competition from Harper.

Off the court, Wembanyama has taken on an increased leadership role within the team. During the offseason, several teammates, including Fox, Castle, Harrison Barnes, and Tobias Harris, traveled to France to visit Wembanyama in his hometown, an excursion that helped strengthen team bonds.
