San Bartolo parade held in Tecpan de Galeana, Guerrero

Civil and military authorities led a parade in Tecpan de Galeana, Guerrero, to honor San Bartolo, the patron saint of the municipal seat. The event featured music, dances, and floats, showcasing the region's folklore, culture, and economy. The festivities caused the Acapulco-Zihuatanejo federal highway to close for approximately two and a half hours.

Beyond the religious and cultural celebrations, the event served as a platform for political promotion. Various political aspirants, primarily from the Morena party, used the parade to express their ambitions, including former federal delegate Iván Hernández. Additionally, businessman Pedro Segura participated with a contingent representing technology and agricultural service companies, showcasing innovations such as drone-based fumigation.

The parade included 42 contingents, making it one of the most attended in recent years. The patronal festivities concluded with the ‘Topa del Toro’ and traditional dances.
