San Bartolomeo in Galdo shares this distinction with the municipalities of Policoro, Ripa Teatina, and Gaeta. The award recognizes their collaborative effort to build a cultural network based on the memory and values of sport, using it as a universal language for community identity and dialogue.

The initiative, which includes connections to the Rocky Marciano Festival, aims to expand its reach internationally, specifically looking toward Olympia to preserve sporting heritage for future generations.
