San Benedetto del Tronto opens “Sguardi” art exhibition

The “Sguardi” exhibition has opened at the Torre dei Gualtieri in San Benedetto del Tronto, marking the official start of the celebrations for the feast of the patron saint, San Benedetto Martire. The event, which runs until October 13, honors the artistic contributions of Mario Lupo, Marcello Sgattoni, and Paolo Annibali.

Curated by Monica Isopi for the San Benedetto Martire Celebration Committee, the exhibition is part of the “LUPO100” project, which commemorates the centenary of Mario Lupo’s birth. The inauguration included a blessing from parish priest Don Guido Coccia and was attended by local cultural officials, including Culture Councilor Cinzia Campanelli.

The exhibition utilizes the historic Torre dei Gualtieri as a venue to connect the city’s historical heritage with its contemporary artistic identity.
