Portugal hosts various regional cultural and gastronomic festivals

Various cultural and regional events are scheduled across Portugal. In Torres Vedras, the seventh edition of ‘Vinhos A. Gosto’ will take place from August 17 to 21 at Praça Wellington, featuring local wines and diverse gastronomy.

In Campo Maior, the ‘Festas do Povo’ return after a ten-year hiatus, characterized by traditional paper flower decorations and community celebrations. The brand Paladin is participating in the festivities through its ‘Flores aos Molhos’ concept.

Marvão is hosting the 14th edition of the Periferias International Film Festival, which includes the screening of ‘18 Buracos para o Paraíso’ at the Castle Courtyard. Additionally, the town is participating in the meeting of the Network of Festivals and Cultural Managers of the International Tagus.

Other upcoming events include the São Mateus Bullfighting Fair in Elvas, featuring bullfights at the Coliseu Comendador Rondão Almeida in September, and musical performances in the Medieval Village of Ourém between September 3 and 6.
