San Carlos hosts dialogue for Regional Gender Agenda 2026-2030
A participatory territorial dialogue is being held in San Carlos to gather input for the construction of the Ñuble Regional Gender Agenda 2026–2030. The event brings together women, leaders, entrepreneurs, and caregivers to discuss essential topics including female employment, gender-based violence prevention, care systems, maternity protection, and civic participation.
Provincial Delegate of Punilla, Cristóbal Jardua, emphasized the importance of hearing directly from women, particularly those in rural sectors, to ensure public actions respond concretely to their realities. The initiative aims to collect proposals from civil society to be integrated with regional ministerial secretariats, public services, and local municipalities.
