San Carlos invests $1.6 billion in 26 new municipal vehicles

The municipality of San Carlos has invested over $1.6 billion in 26 new zero-kilometer vehicles to expand its operational capacity. The new fleet includes trucks, minibuses, electric vehicles, motorcycles, and machinery intended for road maintenance, urban hygiene, public works, and citizen security.

Mayor Alejandro Morillas announced new management protocols to ensure vehicle upkeep, including assigning specific drivers to each unit and providing specialized training. Additionally, Morillas plans to propose an ordinance to the Deliberative Council to mandate the acquisition of at least two new vehicles annually, establishing a permanent renewal policy for the municipal fleet.
