San Cayetano invests $139 million in hospital supplies

The Municipality of San Cayetano has invested over $139.3 million to procure medicines, pharmaceutical supplies, and medical oxygen for the San Cayetano Municipal Hospital. This investment is intended to secure the hospital's pharmacy stock and essential supplies for an estimated period of six months.

The procurement was divided into two main components. Approximately $114.9 million was allocated to medicines and pharmaceutical supplies through a private tender involving 11 different providers. Additionally, $24.4 million was designated for the purchase of medical oxygen via a price competition, which was awarded to Air Liquide Argentina S.A.

This initiative aims to guarantee the continuous operation of the public health system in the district and ensure that indispensable elements are available for daily patient care, particularly for those requiring respiratory assistance.
