San Cayetano Patronal Celebrations Held Across Argentine Communities
The Capilla San Cayetano in Nueve de Julio will host its traditional patronal festivities on Friday, 7 August 2026. Activities begin at 14:30 with a procession from the intersection of Mitre and O'Higgins to the chapel at J. V. González 551, followed by a solemn Mass. Rosary prayers are scheduled for 10:00 and 19:00, and the chapel will remain open all day for the faithful to pray and present intentions.
In Olavarría, the Parroquia San Cayetano continues a series of devotional events from 4 to 7 August. Daily rosary prayers and Masses are offered, each with specific intentions such as vocations, the sick, and national unity. The final day features a procession from the intersection of Berutti and Avellaneda, multiple Masses, and a concluding celebration in honor of San Cayetano, the patron saint of work and bread.
Both communities invite local residents to join the prayers, processions, and Masses, emphasizing collective devotion and the cultural importance of the patron saint’s feast.
