San Clemente del Tuyú tourism faces disputes and seasonal preparations
San Clemente del Tuyú is facing contrasting developments in its tourism sector. The historic Balneario Atlántico is currently facing potential permanent closure due to an administrative and judicial conflict with the Municipality of Partido de La Costa. Concessionaires claim they have faced a series of closures and inspections intended to force them from the premises, while municipal authorities state the dispute is part of a public space reorganization as historical concession contracts expire.
In contrast, Termas Marinas Park is preparing for the upcoming season. The park is currently operating from Thursday to Sunday, offering six thermal pools, including a Mediterranean pool maintained between 38°C and 39°C. The facility also provides recreational pools, a restaurant with a 200-seat capacity, and various entertainment options such as virtual reality and bicycle rentals.
