San Cristóbal de La Laguna hosts historical photography exhibition

The historic center of San Cristóbal de La Laguna is hosting the nineteenth edition of the ‘Zenón el fotógrafo’ old photography exhibition. Organized by the Asociación de Vecinos del Casco in collaboration with the local City Council and the Lagunero Economic and Social Forum, the display features snapshots over thirty years old.

Located between Carrera and Viana streets, the exhibition runs from this Saturday until September 15. The collection covers various themes, including historical festival moments, prominent local figures, representative buildings, and former students of the University of La Laguna.

The event will be accompanied by the XVII ‘Antonio García Rueda’ Photographic Marathon throughout September. Registration for the marathon opens on September 5, both in person at the exhibition and via email. The competition theme will be revealed on September 5, with participants capturing images on September 5 and 6. The resulting compositions will be displayed to the public from September 10 to 15.
