San Diego Ballet Presents Dance Program Inspired by Museum's 'Forging a Legacy' Exhibition

San Diego Ballet dancers staged a new program that interprets works from the San Diego Museum of Art’s “Forging a Legacy” exhibition. The performances, directed by Javier Velasco, were held at the James S. Copley Auditorium, 1450 El Prado, San Diego, on May 28 (8 p.m.), May 29 (8 p.m.) and May 30 (2 p.m.). The collaboration highlights original choreography by company members, linking visual art and dance and offering audiences a glimpse of the company’s next generation of creators.
