San Diego FC hosts Houston Dynamo in Western Conference action

San Diego FC is set to host the Houston Dynamo in a Western Conference matchup as both teams navigate the final stages of the MLS regular season. San Diego FC currently sits 12th in the conference, four points behind the final playoff position held by the LA Galaxy. The team is looking to break a six-match winless streak following a recent 4-1 loss to the New York Red Bulls.

Anders Dreyer expressed confidence regarding the pressure on the squad, noting that the team is focused on finding its level in the league. For the Houston Dynamo, currently fifth in the West, the team is looking to improve upon a recent stretch where they won only one of their last eight matches. Dynamo head coach Ben Olsen highlighted recent positive developments, including a goal from new striker Lyle Foster.
