San Diego Linares man found dead in sewage canal
A man's body was discovered in a sewage canal in the San Diego Linares community, located north of Toluca in the State of Mexico. The discovery occurred near the infrastructure of the Cutzamala System, close to an elevated tank in the La Florida housing development.
A neighbor walking near the area spotted the body and alerted emergency services. The deceased, described as being approximately 35 years old, was wearing a red jacket and blue jeans and was carrying a backpack. An identification card with the name Guillermo was found among his belongings.
The State of Mexico Emergency Service (SUEM) utilized specialized equipment and ropes to recover the body from the canal. The Fiscalía General de Justicia del Estado de México (FGJEM) has launched an investigation and conducted forensic procedures to determine whether the death was the result of an accident or an act of violence.
