San Diego State and Oklahoma State tie 1-1 in women's soccer

Oklahoma State and San Diego State played to a 1-1 draw in a women's soccer match at Neal Patterson Stadium.

San Diego State took an early lead in the 17th minute when Naima Castro scored following an assist from Alexyz Nakamoto. Oklahoma State had an opportunity to lead early in the 14th minute, but Kailey Carlen saved a penalty kick taken by Sonora De Fini.

Oklahoma State equalized in the 75th minute when Addy Lang converted a penalty kick after a foul on Jada Moorman. The Cowgirls nearly took the lead in the 84th minute when a header from Brenna Rowlet struck the crossbar, but the ball did not cross the line.

San Diego State finished the match with a slight statistical advantage, recording 14 shots compared to Oklahoma State's 12. The draw brings Oklahoma State's season record to 2-2-2 and San Diego State's to 3-1-1.
