San Diego State Aztecs face Colorado State Rams in NCAA football matchup

The San Diego State Aztecs are scheduled to play the Colorado State Rams at Canvas Stadium in Fort Collins, Colorado. San Diego State enters the matchup with a 3-4 record, seeking their first road victory of the season following a recent win against Fresno State.

A primary concern for the Aztecs is the health of senior quarterback Jayden Denegal, who sustained a knee injury during the previous game. Redshirt freshman Stone Saunders may start if Denegal is unable to play. Colorado State holds a 2-4 record and has lost four consecutive games.

Historically, San Diego State has been successful in this series, winning eight of the last ten meetings, including a 45-24 victory in 2025. The Aztecs currently lead the all-time series 23-15.
