San Diego State men’s soccer defeats Sacramento State 2-0

San Diego State men’s soccer defeated Sacramento State 2-0 at the SDSU Sports Deck. The Aztecs secured their second win of the season through a Nik Orth penalty kick in the 39th minute and an own goal by a Hornet defender in the final second of the first half.

Despite the victory, Sacramento State senior Zac Giles recorded a career-high nine shot attempts, leading the Hornets to 14 total shots. The loss marks Sacramento State’s fifth consecutive defeat.
