San Diego State men's soccer to face Cal Poly in road opener

The San Diego State men’s soccer team is scheduled to play its first road match of the season against Cal Poly this Sunday. The Aztecs enter the matchup following a 7-1 victory over Life Pacific, a game in which they recorded 32 shots and 20 shots on goal.

Cal Poly enters the series following a 3-0 home opener victory against San Jose State. In that match, freshman defender Peyton Marmion scored the opening goal in the 26th minute following an assist from Colin Pearce. The Mustangs currently hold a 1-0-2 record, while San Jose State sits at 0-2-0.
