San Donato Val di Comino Mayor criticizes Meloni over regional support

Enrico Pittiglio, the mayor of San Donato Val di Comino, has responded to comments made by Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni regarding the Valle di Comino and the Festival delle Storie. While expressing pride that the region is being recognized for its cultural and historical value, Pittiglio criticized the lack of direct engagement and tangible support for the area.

The mayor noted that despite the positive rhetoric, local initiatives like the festival do not receive necessary assistance from the Ministry of Culture or the Lazio Region. He argued that the current policies make it difficult to promote internal areas that continue to lose services, resources, and opportunities.
