San Eduardo Police launch community coexistence initiative

The San Eduardo Police Station in Boyacá has launched a community management initiative aimed at promoting social coexistence and public safety. Supported by local authorities, the program focuses on sensitizing residents to the importance of respect, tolerance, and solidarity to improve domestic environments.

During the sessions, officials provided information regarding behaviors that violate the National Code of Security and Citizen Coexistence (Law 1801 of 2016). The strategy is designed to prevent crimes such as personal injury, sexual offenses, and domestic violence while strengthening communication and trust between the community and law enforcement.
