San Felipe and surrounding municipalities launch Fiestas Patrias activities

Municipalities including San Felipe, Panquehue, Putaendo, and Santa María have launched their official activities for the upcoming Fiestas Patrias celebrations. The launch event, held at the San Felipe Plaza de Armas, featured traditional cueca dancing and gastronomic displays from local entrepreneurs.

Local leaders, including Mayor Carmen Castillo, encouraged citizens to celebrate responsibly, emphasizing the importance of self-care and avoiding driving after consuming alcohol. Scheduled festivities in San Felipe include the 'Fiesta de la Chicha, la Cueca y el Charqui,' featuring traditional games, music, and a Chilean-style mass.
