San Ferdinando volunteers to premiere anti-bullying short film

Volunteers from the Universal Civil Service in San Ferdinando are set to premiere an anti-bullying short film titled ‘Un Gioco per Piero’. The film is part of the ‘Corto Visioni’ festival held in Rosarno.

Directed by Giorgio Fazzari and written by Emiliano Chillico, the three-minute film was proposed and promoted by 12 civil service volunteers who also managed the casting. The cast features local adolescents and teacher Stefano Campisi. The project aims to highlight psychological violence in schools and encourage young people to take concrete action against bullying.

San Ferdinando Mayor Gianluca Gaetano will attend the screening on Saturday, August 29, at the open-air theater in via Sottotenente Gangemi. The Mayor noted that the film aligns with the municipality's educational and cultural goals, alongside other volunteer projects such as ‘In Gioco per la Legalità’ and ‘La Salute a Tavola e in Palestra’ much of which focuses on legality and health.
