San Fernando PP demands urgent repairs for Municipal Cemetery surroundings
The Partido Popular (PP) of San Fernando has called for urgent maintenance and reforms regarding the Municipal Cemetery and its surrounding areas. The opposition party is demanding action from the local PSOE-led government to address visible deterioration in the vicinity of the cemetery.
Key concerns raised by PP Secretary General Carmen Roa include the dilapidated state of the plaza located in front of the cemetery entrance, which features rusted metal elements on benches, broken ceramic coatings, aged lighting, and abandoned garden areas. Additionally, the party highlighted the poor condition of the Ruta de Camarón signage and deficiencies in the final stretch of General García de la Herrán street. The PP maintains that these issues require basic maintenance rather than major construction to ensure the area is respectful to visitors and those interred there.
