San Fernando to hold lottery for 44 reactivated housing units

The municipal government of San Fernando has announced a public lottery for 44 new two-bedroom housing units, scheduled for Tuesday, September 22, at 5:00 p.m. The units, located at Miguel Cané and Paraná, are part of the former national “Casa Propia” program.

Originally started in 2020, the program reached over 60% completion before being abandoned by the national government in December 2023. Mayor Juan Andreotti has moved to reactivate these projects using municipal funds.

To participate, residents must be registered in the Unique Housing Registry (Registro Único Habitacional). Registration has been reopened for those not previously enrolled and will remain open until Saturday, September 19. The lottery will be broadcast live via the municipality’s official YouTube channel.
