A woman in San Fernando, identified as Anna Centurión, was arrested by police after a video of her physically assaulting her young son went viral on social media. The footage, which sparked widespread public indignation, prompted local residents to attempt to confront the woman.

Centurión contacted a media outlet to justify her actions, claiming she was “a mother who is tired” due to difficult circumstances with her partner. Following a formal complaint filed by the child's father, the police intervened and took the woman into custody. The minor has been placed under the care of his father.
