San Francesco Caracciolo Hospital in Agnone Launches Week and Day Surgery Service

The San Francesco Caracciolo Hospital in Agnone, Molise, has officially opened its Week and Day Surgery (general surgery) program. Public appointment slots for first‑time outpatient visits are now available through the regional portal and CUP app, while an internal schedule has been set up for ambulatory and day‑surgery procedures.

The service, overseen by Dr. Fabrizio Pastena, is part of a broader reorganisation of the regional surgical network and the creation of a Simple Departmental Structure at the Isernia “Veneziale” hospital. Director‑General of ASReM Giovanni Di Santo said the launch will cut waiting lists and let local patients receive surgical care without travelling to other regional centres.
