San Francesco Complex to extend visitation in Alessandria
The San Francesco Conventual Complex in Alessandria will remain open to visitors following the conclusion of its summer program. Originally scheduled to close after September 27, the Board of Directors of Asm Costruire Insieme, in agreement with the City of Alessandria, has decided to extend the visitation period.
A new cycle of guided tours by reservation will begin on Friday, October 2. The complex, which underwent restoration and was inaugurated on May 30, has seen frequent sell-outs during the summer months, attracting visitors from across Italy and abroad. While it prepares to function fully as a cultural center and exhibition museum, it currently serves as a site of historical, architectural, and archaeological interest.
Reservations for visits are required and can be made via telephone or email. The entry fee is 6 euros, with free admission for children up to 11 years old and for persons with disabilities accompanied by a companion.
