San Francisco 49ers add veteran WR KhaDarel Hodge

The San Francisco 49ers signed veteran wide receiver KhaDarel Hodge to a one‑year contract, bolstering a receiver group weakened by Ricky Pearsall’s season‑ending knee injury. Hodge, 31, spent the 2025 season with the Atlanta Falcons, recording three catches for 31 yards, and has career totals of 67 receptions, 1,026 yards and two touchdowns across 118 games with multiple teams.

The 49ers also signed defensive lineman Ogbo Okoronkwo to a one‑year deal. Okoronkwo, also 31, appeared in one game for the Philadelphia Eagles last season before a triceps tear placed him on injured reserve. He is a Super Bowl champion from his time with the Rams and has amassed 132 tackles and 17 sacks in 80 career games. The team waived defensive linemen Kevin Givens and Cameron Sample as part of the roster moves.
