San Francisco 49ers promote Brandin Cooks to active roster

The San Francisco 49ers have made several roster adjustments, including promoting wide receiver Brandin Cooks to the active roster. Cooks, a veteran with 13 years in the NFL, was previously on the team's practice squad.

To facilitate this move, the 49ers released wide receiver KhaDarel Hodge with an injury settlement. Additionally, the team signed wide receiver Malik Turner to the practice squad. The team also designated defensive end Mykel Williams to return from the physically unable to perform (PUP) list.
