San Francisco 49ers Khalil Herbert Eli Apple roster moves NFL training camp

The San Francisco 49ers added running back Khalil Herbert and defensive lineman Titus Leo to their roster during training camp. To create space, the team released cornerback Eli Apple and waived rookie defensive back Mikail Kamara with an injury designation.

Herbert, a sixth‑year veteran, has 13 career starts and 416 carries, with 52 carries in the past two seasons.
